ABOUT ME
I am a designer, researcher and educator with an exposure in multidisciplinary fields like Architecture, Interiors, Arts and Computation. With a well recognized international experience; my portfolio comprises of experiments and execution of design at various scales including buildings, spaces, installations and products in countries like Canada, India, UK & Germany.

Being involved in the architecture and design practice, I have worked on Healthcare, Institutional, Public, Commercial and Cultural sectors. My professional experience includes experiments and execution of design from conception - development- fabrication - to execution of a project. I have been involved in various delivery methods at multiple invited competitions, Pubic-Private Partnership (P3) pursuits, Design-Build-Manage (DBM) projects, Construction Management contracts (CM) and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) models.
My passion for innovation has led me to explore several design domains and collaborative processes and I am currently investigating an on-going research on the use of parametric modelling, mixed reality tools and data driven techniques to tackle design problems. My most current research is focused on the use of XR (virtual and augmented reality tools) in developing simulations that can aid in the deign process and help with create a unique user centered approaches. My previous researched on the use of augmented reality to aid assembly and develop reconfigurable structures to enhance socio-cultural development of an urban city has been and well recognized and published at multiple conferences and peer reviews publications. I have been using generative algorithms, embedded systems, advanced digital fabrication, artificial intelligence, biomimetic approaches, evolutionary processes, multi-criteria optimization and speculative design methods; that could merge the contemporary with the vernacular, cultural and organic thinking to utilize and create an innovative direction in design. I call this the SObiT model led through sociology, biology and technology and innately driven to a user centered approach.

Along with professional work I also share my time teaching, lecturing and critiquing at prime universities around the globe . My aim is to pursue my research & contribute the understandings to lead, educate and assist on global design projects using expertise and problem solving competencies.
